To become an NDIS Physio, you must complete a four-year accredited Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved institution. To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the completion. Besides, you must be at least 25 years of age or older and a resident of Australia. There is a minimum of a year of experience in a nursing care setting. You must not be registered in an approved nurse practitioner training program. You must complete a minimum of three years of undergraduate study to achieve an approved degree program. After completion, you must complete an internship and pass a state examination before being eligible to take the exam.
If you are interested in becoming an NDIS Physiotherapist but do not meet the eligibility requirements, you may continue your education at an approved university. You must meet all the pre-assessment needs as outlined in the National Disability Insurance Scheme. In the event you wish to pursue a postgraduate level course, you should ensure you have completed the relevant training before applying for an NDIS Physiotherapy Licence.
