Guide To Metal Stamping
Stainless steels are special because they resist corrosion and are used in very different fields, including that of kitchen utensils, such as knives and pots. These steels generally have a lower percentage of carbon and contain chromium with a concentration from 12 to 35% or nickel with values up to 35%.
Stainless steels prevent the formation of rust. When there are oxidizing conditions, ie when the external environment favors the process of rust formation, these alloys produce a minimal layer of oxide, extremely thin, but which represents a sort of protective patina, preventing the oxidation process from proceeding with Metal Stamping.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris is the symbol of the industrial age. It is made of puddled iron, an alloy obtained from iron and similar to steel. It was built in just two years, two months and five days by Gustave Eiffel, and was completed on March 31, 1889, in time for the Universal Exhibition.
