How A Remote Control Garage Door Works

In a world of instant gratification, consumers are always looking for convenient ways to do things. That is why automated gates and home automation systems have become incredibly popular all over the world. It is easy to see why consumers would want to install a remote control garage door on their property. After all, they would not have to walk to the door to open or close it. All they need to do is press a button on a remote control device to open the gate and press another one to close the gate after driving in or out of the garage.

The system is made up of a radio frequency, infrared or Bluetooth receiver and a control device. The receiver is connected to the power supply of the motor. When you press open, the receiver completes the forward-direction circuit of the electric motor to open the gate. When you press close, the receiver completes the reverse-direction circuit of the motor to close the gate.
