Cha Cha Hut Frito Pie

Our newest menu item – the Texas tradition with a Hut twist. Fritos, cheddar & your choice of Sloppy Brisket (a kicked up sloppy joe made with our legendary brisket), Trashcan Chili (our house chili made with our BBQ meats, BBQ Beans & Thundernagi BBQ Sauce) or our Chili of the Moment (usually a vegetarian chili). The perfect snack, starter or meal.
We rub you the right way
Grilling season is upon us in the Northeast & that means time to stock up on Cha Cha Hut rubs. Try our house rub – All You Need Is Rub – on pork, beef or poultry. It even makes a killed BBQ Catfish! Do you make your own rub? Given it a little something extra with a bit of our Double Smoked Salt. While you’re waiting for the food to come off the grill – have some popcorn dusted with our house rub turned into a popcorn sprinkle.

We wrapped up our February BBQ Love celebration with the chance to win a year’s worth of BBQ – limit 1 per week by predicting the 2012 Oscar Winners for Best Actor & Actress, Best Supporting Actor & Actress, Best Picture & Best Director. The latest, greatest & last version of the Hut is now OPEN! Thursday – Sunday, we’re serving up the best Q in the Catskills. Pulled pork, beef brisket, turkey breast & pork spare ribs all slow smoked in our Backwoods Smokers in the cook house in front of the Hut. We use local hardwoods – mostly cherry, oak, maple & apple – with a base of Royal Oak All Natural Hardwood Briquettes. All rubs & sauces are made in house.
Looking for some great side dishes? Then you’ve also come to the right place! All of our sides are made by hand from scratch. We make our own slaw dressings – one mayo/mustard dressing & one vinegar dressing. Our BBQ Beans are more a meal than a side – three kinds of beans with peppers & onions in our Thundernagi BBQ Sauce. Got a craving for some collard greens? Our Kickin’ Greens have got you covered. Made with house smoked pork belly & a hit of our North Carolina Vinegar Sauce. We even have TWO different Mac & Cheeses. Plain Old Mac & Cheese is just that – just straight up trad mac & cheese. We suggest skipping that for our signature Mac – Smoked Mac & Cheese. Elbow macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce with peppers & onions – we take the whole pan & put it in the smoker for a bit. During the Catskill growing season, we also feature sides made from produce grown on our own farm – Cha Cha Hut Acres.
